Well, I really tried to come up with an inspiring/interesting description for this one, but it's just not happening at all This was my third morning in a row in the same park, got up at 7am on the first day, 6am the next day, and 5am today. Hopefully I don't decide to go tommorow as I don't want to get up at 4. One or two of you may be wondering if I suddenly gained some creativity regarding the title-making process, but I should mention that this lovely title was suggested by a lovely friend.
You'll have to show me where you took this one next time we go out. You got the ripples at just the right time. Did you make them or was it a fish or something. Either way it adds a lot more intrest to the photo. What time is the sky starting to get light at the moment?
I'll show you, yes. Not quite sure what time this was taken, as it appears my clock settings are off a bit on the camera. Says 4.58, but it probably should be 5.58 because of the time change. I have to admit that I was the creator of the ripples, with a stone. It would have been nicer if it was a fish or something, but I still think it adds to the photo enough for me to have done it myself. What does everyone else think about this, as I think it's an interesting topic.
Thanks. I've taken so many pictures in this area before, but I suppose I hadn't realised just how much of a difference good light makes. It really is all about the light, as I'm starting to figure out!
I dont think that flinging stones is a moral problem at all. Where it would start to get a bit dodgy would be if you put them in with photoshop. Assuming that that is possible. Becides which this really adds to the picture.
Thanks for the input. I personally didn't think it was a problem, but I generally really don't like to do anything to alter a scene, as I'm very conservative when it comes to that stuff. I certainly thought it added some interest to the scene and was worth it. Glad you agree!
A continuation of my unexpectedly-popular guide on Mary Sue prevention. Feedback and support is completely welcomed! Thank you all for your support so far.
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
